One Ocean Expedition 2025- 2026

Ambassador for the UN Decade of Ocean Science

Statsraad Lehmkuhl embarks on a new epic voyage with the One Ocean Expedition 2025-2026. The one-year expedition begins in April 2025 and will cover the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, the Arctic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, and the Caribbean Sea, with stops in at least 20 ports across three continents.

We will also navigate through the historic Northwest Passage, a rare and challenging route that connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean through the Arctic.

One Ocean Expedition is a proud ambassador for the UN Decade of Ocean Science. Through a comprehensive program of research activities, knowledge dissemination, and political dialogue, the expedition aims to inspire global engagement for a more sustainable ocean.
